What are Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (G.A.A.P.)? These are standards set by Canadian Institute of Chartered
Accountants, they are merely a set of guidelines to be
used in conjunction with professional judgment to apply
appropriate accounting treatment to different transaction
occurrences.
